In the viral video clip, Michelle narrates a passage about the celebrities’ encounter in New York. In it, she recounts, “One day, while Justin and I were in New York, exploring unfamiliar parts of the city, we encountered a man with an extravagant, blinged-out medallion. He was accompanied by two imposing security guards. Justin got extremely excited and exclaimed loudly, ‘Oh yeah, fo’ shiz fo’ shiz, Ginuwine, what’s up homie?’
Britney further elucidates that she believed Justin’s pop boyband NSYNC, who were avid fans of hip-hop, “made a concerted effort to assimilate” with the black artists they associated with.
